We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist/Oncologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Nov 10, 2025. This position offers Monday through Friday day shifts from 8 am to 5 pm. The assignment involves providing comprehensive care for oncology and hematology patients, including evaluations, physical examinations, and monitoring treatment plans.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct patient evaluations and physical examinations
  • Write prescriptions and provide specific cancer-related information to patients
  • Monitor and manage treatment plans for hematology and oncology patients
  • Administer chemotherapy and perform infusions
  • Perform bone marrow biopsies (a plus but not required)
  • May conduct rounds at local hospitals with advance notice

Additional Information

  • Must be board certified or board eligible in Hematology
  • California medical license required
  • Experience with various EMR systems
