Program Specialist

Under supervision, the Program Specialist (Georgia Access for Business) coordinates healthcare initiatives designed to small businesses in achieving growth, compliance, and long-term success.

Implement and manage components, including training, outreach, and support activities for business owners and entrepreneurs.

Provide assistance to businesses in understanding regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.

Develop and deliver educational workshops, webinars, and informational materials.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate resources and services.

Track program participation, outcomes, and performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Assist in developing and maintaining business resources, toolkits, and guides.

Prepare reports, presentations, and success stories highlighting program impact and participant achievements.

Stay informed of trends in small business development, entrepreneurship, and state and local regulatory requirements.

Represent the agency at community events, business expos, and stakeholder meetings.

Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Prgm Consultant 1 (GSP090) or any other combination of education and professional experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the job.
