About the Role

Total Rehab Kids is seeking a passionate and dedicatedPediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing team. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat children with developmental, neurological, and orthopedic conditions in a supportive outpatient clinic setting. Our mission is to help children reach their highest potential through individualized, play-based therapy and family collaboration.

As a Pediatric PT at Total Rehab Kids, you'll develop personalized treatment plans, provide evidence-based interventions, and empower families with tools to support progress at home. You'll also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team-including occupational and speech therapists-to deliver family-centered care.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current Texas Physical Therapy License or eligibility for licensure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in pediatrics, developmental disorders, or neurorehabilitation.
  • Certification or training in pediatric-specific interventions (e.g., NDT, sensory integration).
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish (a plus for family communication).
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for children with a variety of diagnoses.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
  • Use therapeutic play, functional activities, and age-appropriate exercises to improve mobility, coordination, and strength.
  • Monitor progress and update treatment goals based on developmental milestones.
  • Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs, positioning, and mobility strategies.
  • Collaborate with OTs, SLPs, physicians, and educators to provide integrated care.
