Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Scrub Orthopedic spine, total joints, sports medicine, orthopedic trauma. **STRONG ORTHO Skills Required: We do a lot of complex ortho cases including full restoration of amputated limbs and total hip, femur and knee replacements with artificial. It is likely the traveler will be on spine cases the 2nd day on the unit** Ensuring the operating room environment is safe, the equipment is functioning properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety** Certs: BCLS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Skills: Case Cart Certs: NBSTSA JOB DETAILS: SHIFT: *40 Hours Can Be Offered Will Accept 13 Weeks. 10 HOUR DAYS, (06:30 - 17:00) ***RTO: 7 days MAX for Aya Auto Offer*** Call Requirement: all required (1 call team after 1900). Call Required: 3 or 4, 12 hour call shifts per 6 week schedule (could include weekends). Our team "self-schedules" their 3 or 4 call shifts. Our call shifts includes one 7p-7a shift Monday-Friday. Float Requirement: Will Float to other Novant Health Areas, as needed Weekend Requirement: Our weekends are staffed with call and the weekends are broken into four 12 hour shifts (0630-1830/1830-0630). PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Infants to Geriatrics. Majority elective orthopedic cases (Spine, Total Knees, Hips, & Shoulders). ***Our needs are strong ortho spine, ortho trauma, and total joints *** SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Surgery Equipment Experience with Spinal Fusion systems, Total Knee, Hip, Shoulder systems and Robotics: Mako and Mazor. UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR SCHEDULING TYPE: Per the Unit Needs UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 Hours Orientation SCRUBS: Provided (BLUE)
