Job specification

  • Perform pre-operative assessments, including patient history reviews, physical examinations, and collaboration with the surgical team.
  • Assist in surgical procedures related to trauma cases by providing skilled nursing care, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring patient safety.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and document patient care accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain clinical competency and stay updated on best practices in trauma nursing.
Candidate requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Current BCLS and ACLS certifications. 1 year of job-related experience Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
