Senior Tax Accountant

Our leading client in the real estate industry is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
Job Description:
- Assist and review domestic and combined tax returns for SMLLCs and combined group entities.
- Prepare detailed support schedules for income tax compliance and provision calculations.
- Reconcile fixed asset accounts from book to tax.
- Handle federal and multi-state extension requests and quarterly estimated payments for corporate entities.
- Calculate state apportionment for projections of taxable income.
- Collaborate on projections of taxable income in accordance with ASC 740 and for estimated tax extensions and payments. Conduct REIT testing on a quarterly basis.
- Reconcile tax accounts.
- Engage in cross-functional responsibilities, collaborating with the Accounting and Finance Department to ensure accurate provision and income tax preparation.
- Strong tax accounting experience, coupled with tax compliance expertise.
- Ability to think strategically, synthesize complex business and financial data, and develop innovative solutions.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for writing Tax Position Memos.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 2 years or accounting or tax experience with a multi-entity company.
- CPA License is a plus.
