Civil Project Manager

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (Master's preferred)
• Active Civil Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required or ability to obtain within six months
• 5-10 years of progressive civil engineering experience, with a strong focus on land development, grading, drainage, and utility design
• Proven success managing multiple site development projects from planning through construction
• Experience coordinating with architects, municipalities, and permitting agencies
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera
• Strong understanding of zoning, environmental, and stormwater regulations
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and client relationship management skills
• Willingness to travel up to 20-25% for site visits, meetings, and project oversight

Main Duties:
• Lead the design, planning, and execution of land development and infrastructure projects, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget
• Oversee site layout, grading, stormwater, roadway, and utility design, ensuring compliance with local and state standards
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans in alignment with client goals and regulatory requirements
• Manage permitting processes and coordinate with local jurisdictions, consultants, and contractors
• Perform and review engineering calculations, design documents, and construction drawings
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and technical excellence across all project phases
• Drive innovation by integrating sustainable site design practices and emerging civil technologies

Location & Commuting Expectations
While much of this role can be completed remotely or independently, the ideal candidate will live within a reasonable driving distance of the project and company location(s) to allow for in-person collaboration, client meetings, or site visits as needed, generally about once per month.
