Are you a skilled HVAC Installer ready to lead and inspire? At Dave Jones, Inc., we're growing our Special Projects Division, supporting projects like: Commercial Build-Outs, Restaurants, Clinics, Hockey Rinks, etc. As a HVAC Foreman, you'll play a key role in shaping projects, mentoring others, and building a legacy of quality work.

Position Requirements

What you'll do
  • Lead the build. Own day-to-day operations on active jobsites-from kickoff to closeout-by setting goals, assigning tasks, and keeping projects on schedule.
  • Install with craftsmanship. Fabricate and install ductwork; set gas and condensate piping; complete venting; and deliver fully code-compliant HVAC systems.
  • Wire it smart. Install and troubleshoot low-voltage controls and wiring to bring systems to life.
  • Read the plan-then make it real. Interpret blueprints (pre-drawn or field-laid) and translate them into efficient, accurate layouts.
  • Cut with confidence. Core and cut openings safely-protecting structural integrity while keeping production moving.
  • Stay two steps ahead. Pre-plan and communicate material and labor needs; keep trucks and jobsite stock ready to go; coordinate with GCs and other trades.
  • Grow your crew. Train and mentor Youth Apprentices, Pre-Apprentices, Apprentices, and Skilled Installers-raising the bar for the whole team.
  • Own the safety culture. Model and enforce the DJ/DJI Safety Culture so every teammate and partner goes home safe.
What you'll bring
  • Experience: 5+ years in HVAC construction or completion of a registered HVAC apprenticeship.
  • Credentials: High school diploma/GED and a valid driver's license.
  • Field skills: Confident with hand/power tools; able to multitask and communicate clearly with field and office teams.
  • Physical ability: Comfortable working on your feet, outdoors and at heights; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Schedule & work
  • Four 10-hour days, with overtime as needed; year-round work.
