Job Description
Job Title: Cath Lab Technician
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology
Specialty: Cath Lab Tech
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day
Hours per Shift: 10 hours

Experience:
Minimum of 18 months of experience in the specialty is required.
2 years of experience is preferred.

License:
National Certification as a Cardiovascular Tech is preferred.
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification is also preferred.

Certifications:
AHA or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support certifications are required.

Must-Have:
Experience in Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro.
Must have two of the four modalities reflected in work history.

Description:
We are seeking a team player with expertise in the Cath Lab.
Candidates must have experience in cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
The ability to cater to facility needs by floating within scope is required.
Floating to multiple facilities within a certain radius will be expected.
Candidates must be nicotine-free; no exceptions will be made.
A negative 10 panel drug screen is a requirement prior to start.
All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application.
The ideal candidate should be prepared for the possibility of on-call duties based on unit needs.
Travelers will be expected to prioritize time-sensitive modules once the assignment is confirmed.
Technical skills in various cardiac procedures are essential.
Knowledge of sterile techniques and maintaining a sterile field is necessary.
The candidate should be comfortable working with different patient age groups and diverse diagnoses.
