Job Description

Responsibilities:
  1. Greets and confirms patients, assists patient with appropriate attire for procedure.
  2. Explains procedure length, properly positions patient for procedure, and expectations along with desired results.
  3. Selects and utilizes appropriate technical factors for procedure based on body habits, pathology, and body parts.
  4. Processes completed images making sure they are of interpretable quality.
  5. Continues to develop professionally through continuing education programs and in-services.
  6. Complies with all policies of the system with the intention of delivering the highest quality of service.
  7. Primary Responsibilities include performance of the following procedures: Adult Echocardiography, Stress/Echo tests. Additional responsibilities include maintaining work logs, providing preliminary reports, and working closely with physicians to ensure protocols are established and met.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Echocardiogram Technology program
