Obstetrics and Gynecology Locum Job - North Carolina Region

We are actively seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology physician for a rewarding locum tenens opportunity at a Level 2 Trauma Center in North Carolina. This inpatient role offers a flexible, ongoing schedule, perfect for physicians looking to supplement their practice or explore a new work environment in a supportive, professional hospital setting.

Practice Environment:
  • Setting: Inpatient hospital
  • Trauma Level: II
  • EMR System: MediTech
  • Type of Coverage: Supplemental - approved provider pool for ongoing needs
  • Support Staff: Collaborative and experienced OB/GYN team
Requirements:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Active North Carolina Medical License (REQUIRED)
  • Certifications Needed: ACLS, PALS, and NRP
  • Fellowship: Preferred, but not required
  • Clean malpractice and disciplinary history
  • Must be currently skilled in performing circumcisions
Schedule and Details:
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: Ongoing locum coverage (dates based on your availability)
  • The facility is building its approved provider pool, offering flexibility in dates and long-term potential
  • Opportunities to cover additional shifts may be available depending on hospital need and provider interest
