Job Description
• Design and implement mechanical systems for large-scale projects. • Conduct structural calculations, acceleration forces, load calculations, material stress design, and failure analysis. • Lead installation, system integration, and commissioning of systems. • Analyze mechanical designs for hazard mitigation and compliance with safety standards. • Produce design documents, drawings, and procedures using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. • Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic control systems. • Conduct system analysis, including stress, fatigue, and reliability testing. • Evaluate amusement ride safety standards, especially for emergency scenarios. • Work closely with engineers and contractors, guiding lower-level staff and managing smaller projects from $50k to $250k. • Manage project costs, schedules, and client requirements.
