Senior Energy Engineer

HAYS Recruitment is currently partnered with a leading provider of innovative engineering solutions. We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Senior Level Energy Engineer who can work independently and communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders. Join this dynamic engineering team, who are committed to delivering high-value energy solutions.

Your new role
  • Deliver high-quality energy analysis to clients with minimal oversight
  • Delegate tasks effectively to junior team members
  • Develop and articulate value propositions based on limited client information
  • Communicate concisely and logically with clients and project stakeholders
  • Collaborate with sub-contractors and other stakeholders to implement energy projects
What you'll need to succeed
  • Proficiency in energy modeling software and spreadsheets
  • Strong understanding of energy economics
  • Excellent client communication and management skills
  • Knowledge of energy audit and retro-commissioning processes
  • Familiarity with NY/NJ utility incentive programs (ConEd, NYSERDA, NJ SmartStart)
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of energy project finance and funding methods
