THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • The ideal candidate has a proven track record of construction engineering including managing subcontractors, Update and maintenance of logs for all RFIs, drawings, and change directives.
  • They thrive in a fast paced and a team oriented environment.
  • They get excited about construction projects as well as completing assignments on time.
  • An individual who will do well in this position is self oriented, organized, a great communicator, and approachable.
  • Comfortable working within a team environment at the project site in Seattle, WA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILLS
  • Act as direct liaisons between the field crews/activities, subcontractors, engineers and management
  • Ability to supervise and delegate responsibilities to crew members.
  • Deal with all aspects of subcontractor scheduling.
  • Planning, scheduling, material procurement, production and quantity tracking, quality control, field layout, and initiate design changes/RFIs/Submittals/Shop drawings.
  • Anticipate site grading issues and solutions as project progresses.
  • Meet with Project Manager and engineers to review schedule.
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, change order requests and other construction documents.
  • Procure materials and equipment for the project as needed.
  • Perform cost reviews, updating and reporting.

Compensation: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
