FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $20.87 - $27.13 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:

Join our team as a Cardiovascular Specialist, where you will provide essential direct patient care, perform electrocardiograms (ECGs), conduct stress testing, and manage cardiac monitors to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Review provider's orders and conduct ancillary tests, while educating patients about procedures, ensuring understanding and cooperation throughout the process.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies, position patients, and analyze results, proactively identifying and resolving any issues with quality.
  • Monitor patient conditions, reporting changes and adverse results as necessary to maintain safety and care standards.
  • Ensure equipment is kept in clean and functional condition, troubleshooting and addressing any malfunctions as appropriate.
  • Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment to operate independently in a fast-paced environment, swiftly taking action when needed.

Requirements:

  • * Cert Cardiographic Tech within 1 year of hire
  • * Certified EKG Technician within 1 year of hire
  • * National Certified ECG Technician (NCET) within 1 year of hire
  • * High School diploma or GED required
  • Certifications: Must obtain certification as a Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or EKG Technician (CET) within 1 year of hire, along with BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR before start date.
