The HVAC Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Duties:

  • Maintain and repair HVAC/R systems
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters and schematics to diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions.
  • Perform necessary repairs or replacements of components as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed on each unit.
  • Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related issues in various properties.
  • Drive company vehicles to job sites as needed while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Occasionally assist with welding tasks related to system installations or repairs.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC/R field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, and refrigeration principles.
  • Familiarity with using diagnostic tools such as Ohmmeters and reading schematics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for van driving responsibilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Certification or relevant training in HVAC systems is a plus.
