Lancaster Veterinary Specialties in Lancaster, Pennsylvania is a specialty practice founded in 2012. Our team of highly trained doctors perform a vast array of specialized procedures for the surrounding area and beyond, striving to provide a world class experience for each referral we recieve. We offer cardiology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, oncology, radiology, and surgery services, and welcome experienced and new veterinary professionals excited to join a dynamic and collaborative team

The Role

This is a shared position between Surgery and Internal Medicine, offering hands-on experience with:
  • Anesthesia monitoring and advanced procedures
  • Surgical and internal medicine case support
  • Gradual cross-training and exposure to additional specialties
  • Learning to run CT scans as your skills grow
Perfect for a technician with 2-3 years of veterinary experience who is eager to expand into specialty medicine with strong mentorship and support.
What We're Looking For
  • 2-3 years of previous veterinary experience required (general practice welcomed)
  • Licensed technicians encouraged to apply (not required)
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Compassionate, team-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Commitment to excellent patient care and professionalism
  • Proficient in all basic veterinary tech skills such as venipuncture, IV catheter placement, medical terminology, surgical prep and some anesthesia experience.
Specialty experience is not required - we love to teach.
