Job Description

Duration: 2 years contract with possible extension

Pay range: 30.00 - 34.08/hr on w2 (all inclusive)

25-40 hours per week with 1/2-hour lunch (every day).

Job description:
  • Project Support Specialist -- Must be open to travel to Clifton and to our entire service territory as needed.
  • The Project Support Specialist will be responsible for the delivery of customer facing outreach communication materials. They will receive packet specifications to be printed, assembled and distributed to customers in the applicable locations statewide per the week's schedule. Any significant findings while delivering outreach materials will be documented and communicated to ensure resolution and close out.
  • *Driving required: Yes, the prospective candidate will perform canvassing for door-to-door notifications for capital work.
  • *MVR Required*

Responsibilities:
  • Provide project-based assistance and support to designated business unit
  • Collaborate and participate within designated business functions
  • Collect available data from all required company departments
  • Assist with the overall communication efforts towards the completion of the project
  • Maintain compliance with organizational and institutional policies

Requirements:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrable quantitative and analytical skills
  • Previous experiences utilizing basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
  • MS Project experience a plus
  • PMP certification a plus

Important notes:
  • Must be very professional with good time management skills
  • Must have valid NJ driver's license and reliable form of transportation. Note: Uber or public transportation is not considered reliable.
  • Contractor will be reimbursed for mileage and tolls.
  • Project Support Specialist will be provided the materials needed by the project coordinator. The Project Specialist will need to assemble the materials and hang materials on doors in the northern and central parts. Note: May need to do South Jersey 2-3 times per year.
  • Up to 600-700 hangers in a given day. Contractor may go to as many as 4-5 municipalities in a given day.
  • Must be able to walk 7-10 miles
  • No Degree required, but HS Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Primary work site location is in Clifton NJ
  • 25-40 hours per week with 1/2-hour lunch (every day).
  • min. Of 25hrs/week (hours will vary between 25-40/week)
  • Contractor needs to be available Monday - Friday, 8 -4: 30pm
