Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Projects Sales Representative in Greater Atlanta Area, GA to prospect new clients and sell large mechanical HVAC projects in industrial and commercial markets.
Impact
• Generate $3M+ in annual project revenue through strategic client development
• Lead complex sales processes for major industrial and commercial HVAC installations
• Build market presence in competitive Southeast commercial construction sector
• Drive business expansion through innovative mechanical system solutions
Responsibilities
• Prospect new clients through strategic approaches and targeted market analysis
• Support existing clients with project development and solution identification
• Develop and sell mid to large mechanical HVAC projects in industrial markets
• Present comprehensive mechanical solutions to project stakeholders and owners
• Coordinate with engineering teams to develop competitive project proposals
• Negotiate contracts for complex commercial and industrial HVAC installations
• Maintain strategic relationships with general contractors and major developers
• Lead project pursuit activities including presentations and client meetings
Requirements
Must-Haves
• 5+ years sales experience in commercial or industrial mechanical construction
• Proven track record selling projects worth $500K+ in HVAC or mechanical systems
• Strong understanding of commercial and industrial HVAC design and installation
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to influence senior decision makers
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
Nice-to-Haves
• Existing relationships with major Southeast general contractors
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or advanced technical credentials
• Experience with design-build project delivery and integrated construction
• Previous experience with industrial process systems or critical facilities
