There are immediate openings for Food Service Helpers in the School Nutrition Department for the 2025/26 school year.

Ivan Green - 8:00 AM - 1:30 PM (5.5 Hrs.)

Helendale - 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM (4.5 Hrs.) DUTIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Serves as cashier on student food service line.

  • Set up prep area/serving line/cash register for menu items and ease of service.

  • Prepare foods and ingredients properly, efficiently, and courteously.

  • Serve food from steam table of food line in cafeteria-style operation.

  • Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.

  • Wash and sanitize all pots, pans, and utensils.

  • Assist with cleanup of equipment, serving areas, and work areas.

  • Count/store/return leftover foods properly following all food safety guidelines.

  • Assist Cook Manager or Food Service Director with additional tasks as needed.

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Food service experience preferred.
