In a typical week, this licensed position is responsible for providing services to assist individuals in accessing necessary medical, social, educational, and other services for appropriate care and treatment. The role emphasizes recovery management with an integrated treatment approach to reduce the duration, intensity, and frequency of symptoms and usage related to mental health and addiction issues, with a focus on psychosocial rehabilitation and chronic disease management through skills training, individual, family, and group counseling and therapy. Service will be provided in-person in office or in the community. Services may only be provided via tele-health platforms, based on client need as determined by the treatment team and if approved by the Regional/Clinical Director.

To be considered for this position you must be a Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW) through the North Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners (NDCC 43-41); and have two years of professional human services work experience as a social worker, human relations counselor, developmental disabilities case manager, mental illness case manager, vocational rehabilitation counselor, activity therapist, addiction counselor, registered nurse, employment counselor, or a similar professional level position in the public or private sector. Applicants with intent to pursue a master's degree in social work are preferred. Applicants holding an LMSW or LCSW will also be considered.
This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.
