Job Description
  • Prepare comprehensive budgets and cost estimates for construction projects based on detailed analysis of plans and specifications.
  • Collaborate with project teams, architects, and subcontractors to gather accurate data and ensure alignment with project scope.
  • Review and assess subcontractor and supplier proposals to confirm value and compliance with project requirements.
  • Track and report project costs throughout the lifecycle, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize costs while maintaining quality and performance standards.
  • Stay current with market pricing, material trends, and industry developments to inform estimates.
  • Ensure all cost-related activities adhere to local codes, regulations, and company standards.

The Successful Applicant
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, labor costs, and overall project budgeting.
  • Proficient in industry-standard estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong negotiation abilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Highly organized with effective time-management skills and attention to detail.
