The Advanced Care Partner (ACP) is a specialized position for nursing (RN) students after completing their first clinical rotation. Join us at UCHealth Parkview Medical Center located in Pueblo, CO.

Department: Float Pool

FTE: PRN, 0.0, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Flex

Pay: $18.40 - $27.60 / hour, based on experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Must be enrolled in and in good standing with an accredited nursing program, able to provide proof of enrollment in Med/Surg 1 or an equivalent course at the time of application.

Key Responsibilities of ACP:

  • Direct care responsibilities include measuring vital signs, blood glucose levels, changing sterile dressings, starting peripheral IVs, and tracking intake and output.
  • Assisting patients with personal care, daily living activities, and mobility.
  • Maintaining the care area by keeping it stocked, clean, and organized.
