The Role:
The SeniorManufacturing Engineer develops, implements, and improves manufacturingprocesses to increase productivity, reduce waste, and optimize quality within adiscrete manufacturing environment. This role provides engineering leadershipby integrating advanced manufacturing methods, lean practices, and continuousimprovement strategies to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effectiveproduction.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Improve manufacturing processes toenhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead productivity and cost-reductioninitiatives, including labor and material savings.
  • Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and automation to support productiongoals.
  • Support new product introductions with process development, documentation, andtraining.
  • Conduct time studies and maintainaccurate labor standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement and leanmanufacturing projects (e.g., Kaizen, VSM).
  • Troubleshoot and support equipment andprocess issues on the shop floor.
  • Collaborate with quality, planning, andprocurement on materials, specifications, and standards.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with healthand environmental regulations.
  • Maintain process documentation: workinstructions, SOPs, control plans.
  • Utilize ERP systems (MS Dynamics 365preferred) for documentation and reporting.
  • Participate in MRB team to resolvequality issues and drive corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing,Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalentexperience).
  • 10+ years' experience in discretemanufacturing (metal forming, machining, assembly).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Inventor,SolidWorks, or other 3-D modeling software, CNC programming, Welding, SheetMetal, and/or Machinist background a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, andprocess improvement methods.
  • Experience with ISO standards and qualitysystems.
  • Skilled in plant layout, workflowoptimization, and labor cost analysis.
  • Effective communicator with strongproblem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especiallyExcel; MS Project a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferablyMS Dynamics 365).
  • Lean Manufacturing certification is aplus.
