Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience with financial reporting standards such as IFRS.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
- Experience working in a corporate finance environment or public accounting firm.
- Familiarity with tax preparation and compliance.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes by analyzing trends and variances.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff to enhance team performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
