Aircraft Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our team in San Diego, CA. Our commitment is to consistently exceed customer expectations and build lifelong relationships with our clientele. The Aircraft Mechanic will be responsible for accomplishing all assigned work in accordance with company policies, procedures, requirements, and specifications, as well as applicable government regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
Responsibilities
  • Perform line maintenance (both on-call and scheduled) on various customers' aircraft.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and airworthiness releases, returning aircraft to service within the scope of approval.
  • Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components to meet deadlines and performance goals.
  • Troubleshoot systems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components to ensure full functionality according to approved technical data.
  • Ensure all departing aircraft are safe in accordance with FARs and manufacturer manuals, and document all work performed.
  • Perform assigned line maintenance duties and tasks.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the air carrier's maintenance control center as required.
Essential Skills
  • Current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
  • 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, with preference for line maintenance.
  • Gen Fam A320 and A330 preferred.
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, use hand and finger dexterity, climb, balance, bend, or crawl.
  • Ability to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
  • Awareness of working near moving mechanical parts and exposure to fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals..
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Preferred experience with B767-200/300 aircraft types.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Customer-facing skills and ability to interact professionally with flight crews.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and able to work without direct supervision.

Work Environment
This role is based at the San Diego International Airport flightline. The schedule consists of 4 days on/3 days off, with shifts from either Sunday to Thursday or Wednesday to Saturday. Candidates will work one of the following shifts: 3:30pm - 2am or 3am - 1:30pm. Expect to work in a setting with exposure to weather conditions and non-weather conditions such as extreme heat or cold, and around loud noises.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
