Transaction Advisory Senior & Supervisor - Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
$100,000 to $150,000 + Bonus & Benefits
Our public accounting client in Chicago is growing their Transaction Advisory Services team and is seeking a Supervisor & Senior to join their group. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with clients on M&A transactions while gaining exposure to both buy-side and sell-side due diligence across diverse industries.
About the Role:
As a Transaction Advisory Supervisor, you'll play a key role in managing financial due diligence engagements, preparing quality of earnings analyses, and identifying potential deal issues. You'll collaborate closely with corporate and private equity clients, leading day-to-day engagement teams and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions
- Analyze financial statements, quality of earnings, working capital, and cash flow trends
- Prepare reports and presentations outlining key deal considerations
- Support clients in identifying risks, opportunities, and adjustments impacting valuation
- Manage project timelines and deliverables while supervising and developing staff
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting, preferably with exposure to transaction advisory, audit, or financial due diligence
- Strong analytical, project management, and client communication skills
- Experience with Excel-based financial modeling and report preparation
- Work with a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial team
- Exposure to a variety of industries and transaction types
