The Senior Business Analyst specializing in Salesforce is essential for the impactful delivery of Salesforce initiatives in intricate, enterprise-level settings, particularly focusing on Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS). This position calls for outstanding communication abilities, keen requirements analysis, and effective stakeholder engagement to identify business challenges, evaluate operational processes, and devise innovative, scalable solutions. You will serve as the intermediary between business and technical teams, converting organizational requirements into practical system capabilities, while ensuring alignment with best practices, driving improvements, compliance, and user adoption.

In this senior role, you will lead requirements workshops, develop comprehensive documentation, and work alongside architects, developers, testers, and project managers to achieve top-tier solutions. You will oversee implementation activities, including demos, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged at every stage of the project life cycle. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who excels in dynamic settings, consistently delivering excellence and measurable outcomes across Salesforce projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders, operations, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to discern business needs, translate them into detailed, actionable requirements, and document high-quality User Stories, Use Cases, or Business Requirements.
• Assess current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose optimizations to improve business performance.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies including daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Work closely with the Scrum Team to refine user stories, support sprint execution, eliminate team impediments, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Define data migration necessities, map source fields to Salesforce objects, and set business rules for data cleansing, transformation, and validation.
• Partner with stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to confirm data migration scope, quality standards, and acceptance criteria alignment.
• Assist with testing, conduct mock runs, and validate post-migration while advising governance for ongoing data integrity.
• Create thorough Test Plans and Test Cases, perform solution testing, and manage UAT sessions with stakeholders, integrating feedback for enhancements and fixes.
• Develop training materials and facilitate training sessions for end users to promote successful adoption of Salesforce solutions.
• Take charge of new Salesforce product implementations, becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to configure, demonstrate, and train users effectively.
• Work with project managers to ensure transparent and consistent communication with clients and stakeholders, aligning expectations for successful project outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with comprehensive experience in Salesforce implementations.
• 5+ years of experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle and Agile-driven development environments.
• 5+ years of experience configuring Salesforce platform solutions including Sales, Service, Community Clouds, and/or custom apps.
• Expertise in the Salesforce Public-Sector (PSS) domain is highly preferable.
• Proven experience conducting simple to advanced Project and Sprint Demos.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or other Agile project management tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Lucid chart, and SharePoint.
• Exceptional interpersonal, listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience with sandbox and production environments.
• Track record of adherence to Salesforce.com best practices.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Salesforce Administration Certificate is mandatory.
• Salesforce Business Analyst Certification is an advantage.
• Salesforce Public Sector Consultant certification is a significant asset.
