We're seeking an HVAC Project Sales Professional in San Diego to develop new business relationships and drive revenue growth in commercial mechanical markets.
Impact
• Generate new business opportunities in commercial HVAC retrofit and replacement markets
• Build lasting relationships with facility managers, property owners, and consulting engineers
• Drive revenue growth through strategic account development and project sales
• Support sustainable building initiatives through energy-efficient system solutions
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute sales strategies for commercial HVAC projects and services
• Identify prospects through cold calling, referrals, and networking activities
• Conduct facility assessments and develop technical proposals for HVAC improvements
• Present solutions to decision makers and negotiate contracts and pricing
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate project specifications
• Maintain customer relationships through regular follow-up and account management
• Track sales activities and maintain accurate records in CRM system
• Attend industry events and trade shows to generate leads and market presence
Requirements
*Must-Haves:*
• 5+ years B2B sales experience, preferably in HVAC or construction
• Strong technical understanding of commercial HVAC systems and applications
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
• Valid California driver's license and professional appearance
• Bachelor's degree preferred
*Nice-to-Haves:*
• Mechanical engineering background or technical degree
• Existing relationships in Southern California commercial market
• Experience with energy service company (ESCO) sales model
• CRM software proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot)
