Job Description:
As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for migrating legacy applications from the Harvest environment to Azure DevOps and GitHub, ensuring the viability of source code and build processes for future maintenance. This role also includes documenting applications to enable long-term support and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run current legacy builds as migration control.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to create new pipelines and processes for application migration.
  • Facilitate application testing with IT leads and stakeholders.
  • Perform analysis, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation of migrated applications.
  • Create application and data diagrams for migrated systems.
  • Produce accurate time and resource estimates for assigned tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with DevOps standards and best practices.
  • Take appropriate steps to protect regulated data throughout the migration process.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
  • Strong proficiency in C#, SQL Server, Crystal Reports, and MS Visual Studio.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub for pipeline creation and source control.
  • Ability to design and implement CI/CD processes for application builds and deployments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).


The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
