Job Title: Ultrasound Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: General Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid State License preferred at time of submission Certifications: BLS, ARDMS (AB, OB/GYN) required Must-Have: - GE and Phillips Equipment Experience - Experience in various ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, OB/GYN, breast, neurologic, small parts, noninvasive vascular, and pediatric hips & spines - Experience in invasive procedures such as breast biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, thyroid biopsies, liver biopsies, and renal biopsies Description: M-F, 5x8s. Floating required to other areas within the facility. No on-call required. This position helps create a collaborative environment by integrating education, research, and clinical leadership. Sonographers work with infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Imaging involves providing quality real-time 2D, 3D, M Mode, and Doppler applications to acquire images with accuracy and efficiency, using optimal skills and knowledge of equipment. A wide range of ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to adult and pediatric invasive procedures, is expected. The candidate must demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to work occasional weekends. Epic experience required. Candidates should possess strong skills in various ultrasound techniques and have experience in high-risk and maternal-fetal medicine.
