Job Description
Our client is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer for a company that improves clients' operations by creatively solving business problems through the effective use of technology. They focus on providing IT leadership and tactical support to organizations with grand missions and limited IT resources, such as non-profits and engineering, construction, and manufacturing companies.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform & manage projects for servers, networks, cloud infrastructure & more
  • Engage with client as the "voice of the customer"
  • Design, install, troubleshoot, & maintain on-site and cloud infrastructure, network, server equipment, & other hardware & software
  • Communicate with clients to resolve problems, design infrastructure, assist with growth planning, and provide best practice analysis
  • Ensure client IT Security management with security team
  • Work with Customer Success Team to assist with formulating growth plans & recommend best practices for clients
  • Communicate with vendors & 3rd parties for clients
  • Perform and oversee software and application development, installation, and upgrades
  • Train clients to use hardware, software and other systems
  • Configure, maintain, monitor & backup servers & appliances
  • Provide technical support for customers - phone, remote and on-site
  • Provide emergency on-call service and support in rotating schedule with other colleagues
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-year Associates Degree in Computer/IT field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a position with similar responsibilities of those required for this position
  • Client-focused with excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Must have experience with Microsoft 365 stack, Server 2008+, Microsoft Exchange 2010+, VMWare, Hyper-V, firewall and networking configuration, performing, and managing server, cloud, Microsoft 365 migrations, Microsoft 365 administration, VPN configuration
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure, Teams, Cloud services administration, Autotask, Datto, Cisco Meraki
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment
  • A registered vehicle and a valid Driver's License
  • Ability to frequently bend/stoop, stand, reach, lift, and sit
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
