Position Overview

We are searching for a proactive Civil Engineer to assist with a variety of dynamic civil design projects. This opportunity allows you to work alongside experienced engineers and acquire practical experience in creating plans, specifications, and technical solutions for infrastructure and site development initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct design calculations ensuring adherence to relevant codes and regulations.

  • Prepare and assess design and construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and permit applications.

  • Collaborate effectively with engineers, CADD technicians, and other team members to produce outstanding results.

  • Engage in site visits to analyze project conditions and work with stakeholders.

  • Create technical reports, design documentation, and project correspondence.

  • Participate in client and agency meetings as well as professional development events.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (required).

  • 0-2 years of experience in civil design (consulting or professional services preferred).

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required; PE licensure preferred.

  • Proficiency in Civil 3D; experience with site layout, grading, and utility design.

  • Familiarity with stormwater design software (HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, or SWMM) preferred.

  • Outstanding communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% (occasionally on short notice).
