The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program is an exciting, entry-level opportunity designed to equip you for a Store Management role within 18-24 months. Embracing Sherwin-Williams' promote-from-within philosophy, successful candidates will advance to an Assistant Store Manager position following an initial 8-week training period.
This role typically requires a commitment of 44 hours each week, with the flexibility to include evenings and weekends.
Throughout the program, you will partner with store management to oversee a million-dollar business, providing valuable leadership and strategic insight. You will gain comprehensive knowledge of operations, clients, and internal strategies, empowering you to contribute significantly to your team's success. Your responsibilities will include expanding our market share by engaging with large commercial users such as painting contractors and purchasing agents who require substantial volumes of our premium products.

Your role will involve direct customer interactions, which may include minors, and access to sensitive business assets. Therefore, a review of criminal history is necessary to ensure the safety of customers, employees, and the overall integrity of the company.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country without requiring sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
- Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Must hold a bachelor's degree by the start of this program.
- Must be able to retrieve materials from shelves and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a leadership role or supervising others.
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment, including work or military experience.
- Prior experience selling paint or paint-related products.
- Proficiency in using timekeeping and/or CRM systems.
- Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities.
- Ability to communicate in more than one language.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
