Job Description

This is an entry-level position; no experience is required, but any shipping and receiving experience is a plus.

Full-time position offering benefits such as paid time off, health, dental, & vision insurance.

Parts Shipping & Receiving (Stocker) Functions:

  • Receives and ships parts and accessories as directed.
  • Maintains physical inventory as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Reports directly to the Parts Manager.
  • Maintains close working relationships with counter salespersons and drivers regarding shipping and receiving of parts.
  • Conducts shipping and receiving activities following dealership procedures.
  • Reports all overages and shortages to the Parts Manager.
  • Stocks all received parts and accessories in the correct bins and locations.
  • Controls all special and emergency orders by tagging and notifying the appropriate personnel.
  • Ships all parts and accessories according to shipping instructions (route, UPS, express, etc.).
  • Maintains physical inventory by keeping stock in proper locations, sealed, and free of hazards.
  • Maintains bins, racks, and equipment; reports repairs needed.
  • Ensures bin labels and location designations are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Runs bin spot checks as directed.
  • Receives and manages all daily and stock orders.
  • Maintains warranty parts area in a clean, organized manner.
  • Scraps warranty parts following manufacturer policies and procedures.
