Job Description

A local General Contractor in Missoula is seeking a motivated and ambitious Construction Project Engineer ready to kick-start their career in the construction industry. About the Role:

As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in managing and supervising various disciplines in building and site construction. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing contract compliance and budget control
  • Coordinating field activities, subcontract administration, and quality control procedures
  • Leading project personnel, resolving technical issues with clients, and ensuring project plans meet customer requirements
  • Reviewing construction drawings, preparing project estimates, and job cost reports
  • Maintaining professional relationships with architects, engineers, building owners, installers, and suppliers
This position offers the chance to work on diverse commercial projects across multiple disciplines, providing excellent experience and exposure.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Minimum 2 years of construction project engineering experience with diverse commercial exposure
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Primavera, and Adobe or Bluebeam
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
