About the Job

Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Material Handler/Truck to truck-to-truck technician at our Bristol, CT facility responsible for the movement and placement of waste from Clean Harbors' facilities and direct generators.

Shift: 1st 5am-3pm (Mon-Fri)

Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
  • Day-to-day planning, transfer coordination, and execution of proper paperwork for Truck-to-Truck drum management
  • Monitors and ensures all key deadlines are met and proper follow-up is implemented to ensure proper drum transfer compliance requirements; ten (10) day compliance periods
  • Communication to proper management on issues related to compliance, DOT, and other issues that could impact the business and compliance
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Forklift experience
  • Shipping and receiving experience is a plus
  • 1 plus years work related warehouse or plant experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Basic computer experience
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
