Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Facilitating surgical procedures by meticulously preparing and organizing the operating room
  • Sustaining sterile environments and complying with stringent infection control measures
  • Providing instruments and materials to surgeons and surgical assistants with precision
  • Managing surgical tools and equipment before, during, and after all operations
  • Monitoring and ensuring an ample supply of necessary materials for each procedure

  • Keeping accurate records and counts throughout the surgical process
Education Requirements:
  • A completed surgical technology program accredited by an appropriate authority
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Certifications Needed:
  • Possession of a current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is essential
  • BLS certification (or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment)
