Position Summary

Join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician, where your skills will enhance the experience of our guests at The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort. In this role, you will:

  • Respond to and address guest repair requests promptly.
  • Communicate with guests and team members to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Inspect tools, equipment, and machines for optimal functionality.
  • Maintain inventory and requisition necessary parts and supplies.
  • Utilize the Lockout/Tagout system to ensure safety during maintenance work.
  • Assist in repairs across various systems including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Handle minor carpentry tasks such as drywall and wood trim repair.
  • Participate in maintaining both internal and external landscaping features.
  • Engage in light physical tasks, moving items up to 50 pounds and utilizing ladders or service ramps.

We are looking for candidates with basic knowledge in various maintenance categories such as air conditioning, plumbing, and basic electrical work. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in hotel engineering is a plus.

  • Maintaining professionalism and a clean appearance at all times.
  • Developing positive relationships within the team and with guests.
  • Completing tasks efficiently and effectively to uphold quality standards.
