We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to perform high-quality mammography exams, including stereotactic biopsy and needle localization, to help deliver vital diagnostic services. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a wide range of mammography procedures, including stereotactic biopsies, ductograms, and needle localizations.
  • Ensure high standards of image quality through proper QC procedures.
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Maintain competency in all aspects of mammography and related imaging procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety and clinical protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in mammography.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Proficiency in stereotactic biopsy and ability to perform quality control procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent patient care skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and efficiently under minimal supervision.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with digital breast tomosynthesis.
  • Knowledge of new imaging technologies and procedures.
  • Prior experience in high-volume imaging centers.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Certified radiologic technologist with specialized mammography certification.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar clinical setting.
  • Proven track record of performing all types of mammography procedures, including needle localizations and ductograms.
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work daytime shifts from 8:21 AM to 6:30 PM.
  • Licensure and certification compliant with state and federal regulations.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to handle travel reimbursements if applicable.
