Century Group is excited to partner with a leader in Affordable Housing to help them find a top notch Director of Asset Management to join their East Bay team The Director of Asset Management will have oversight of all asset management functions of the organization and its affiliates.

Hybrid schedule - 3 days/ week onsite and 2 remote
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $190,000 to $235,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Full management responsibility for all Asset Management functions.
  • Develops and implements financial and capital improvement plans, ensuring the long term health of the real estate portfolio.
  • Oversees operational and financial analysis of property performance.
  • Manages Section 8 PBV subsidies at the sites including renewal and subsidies.
  • Participates in the development of new housing - advises on new sources of funds, implications for operating budgets and compliance.
  • Attends department and Housing Authority meetings
Requirements:
  • Asset management techniques and best practices of affordable housing.
  • Multi-family development and redevelopment knowledge, including utilization of low-income tax credit and bond financing.
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal laws governing real estate property management, planning and development and asset management.
  • Four year college or university degree with major in real estate, finance, business administration or related field.
  • 7 years of progressively responsible experience in oversight of a large real estate portfolio.
  • 2+ years of management/supervisory experience
  • Experience with HUD's MTW program.
  • CHAM certification a plus
