HR & Talent Development Specialist

Location: Miami

Reports To: HR Director

Department: Human Resources

Position Summary

The HR & Talent Development Specialist plays a key role in designing, implementing, and managing programs that enhance employee engagement, performance, and career growth. This position focuses on talent development strategies, training initiatives, HR recruitment, and event management to ensure the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Development & Training

  • Design and deliver learning programs, workshops, and e-learning modules to support employee growth.
  • Develop career development frameworks and succession planning strategies.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and adjust programs based on feedback and performance metrics.
Performance Management
  • Support managers in implementing performance appraisal processes.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to employees and leaders on goal setting and career progression.
Employee Engagement
  • Collaborate on initiatives that improve employee satisfaction and organizational culture.
  • Conduct surveys and analyze data to identify engagement trends and recommend solutions.
HR Support
  • Assist with onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • Employee Relations
  • HR Compliance
  • Recruiting & Onboarding
  • Partner with HR team on recruitment strategies and workforce planning.
Corporate Events & Employee Engagement Activities
  • Plan and execute employee engagement events such as team-building activities, recognition programs, and cultural celebrations.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, workshops, and company-wide events.
  • Manage vendor relationships and budgets for Corporate/Employee events.
  • Evaluate event success and gather feedback to continuously improve future initiatives.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.

Experience: 3-5 years in HR, talent development, recruitment, or learning & development roles.

Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of training design and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and measure program effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Expertise in recruitment strategies and event planning.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CPTD).
  • Experience with leadership development programs and competency frameworks.
  • Background in organizing corporate events and managing recruitment campaigns.
