Cardiology Technician

As a Cardiology Technician, you will play a crucial role in patient care and diagnostic procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
- Registering patients by confirming their identification, reviewing consultation requests, and entering anticipated services into the patient log.
- Providing comfort and support to patients and their families by answering questions and explaining testing procedures.
- Conducting tests such as electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, and stress tests using advanced electronic equipment.
- Assisting physicians during cardiac catheterizations by monitoring patient functions and alerting them to any irregularities.
- Conducting pulmonary function tests to aid in the diagnosis of respiratory disorders.
- Maintaining accurate laboratory records and contributing to research projects.
- Generating revenue by completing charge slips and assisting with patient billing.
- Ensuring all cardiology and pulmonary equipment is well maintained through regular cleaning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Upholding quality results by adhering to established standards and procedures.
- Continuing professional development by participating in educational opportunities and staying updated on technical publications.
- Protecting the healthcare facility's integrity by following professional standards and regulatory requirements.
