Job Summary and Qualifications

The MRI Imaging Specialist plays a crucial role in performing various imaging procedures as directed by physicians, ensuring outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily functions of the MRI department.
  • Assist in managing budgets, equipment needs, and staff for quality patient care.
  • Apply knowledge of growth and development principles to address patient care requirements.
  • Deliver compassionate, holistic care while respecting patient rights and dignity.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
  • Certifications/Licenses:
    • Current ARRT registration.
    • MRI registered or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
    • American Heart BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Experience: One year preferred.
