EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - Decatur Manor, Decatur, IL

Decatur Manor, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Decatur, IL, has an Immediate Opening for a Dynamic Executive Director. Must have experience in Mental Health Facility or Clinic Management and knowledge of IL SMHRF Rules and Regulations a plus Salary of $120k-130k plus benefits.

We are looking for an Enthusiastic and Innovative Team Leader to manage our busy facility. The Ideal Candidate will have a love and passion for the field of mental health, as well as a desire to lead our facility, as well as his/her career, into the next level.

In addition you must have one of the following designations:

  • Licensed Clinical Psychologist
  • Physician
  • Advanced Practice Nurse with psychiatric specialty
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
PLUS 2 years management experience of large and diverse team of clinical, operational and support staff as well as:
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using an EMR documentation system
  • Have past experience managing payroll and HR responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Executive Director:
  • Plan and direct operations of the facility based on policies and current regulatory standards
  • Full responsibility for all aspects of consumers' care and for the facility's environmental functioning, ensuring quality
  • Direct the hiring, training and activities of the medical, nursing, technical, clerical, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, social service, activity and volunteer staff
  • Optimize reimbursement
  • Administer budgets and ensure profitability
  • Facilitate meetings with staff, families and consumers
  • Oversee management of operations, clinical services, and physical plant for a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility located in Evanston Illinois.
  • Manage personnel, fiscal operations, and clinical outcomes for treatment of individuals with primary psychiatric disorders.
  • Participate with local Ombudsman Office, Illinois Department of Public Health, and local Health Department in delivery of long-term healthcare with excellence.
  • Partner with consultants within SIR Management/Generations Healthcare Network to achieve positive outcomes and manage projects within clinical and operational departments.
  • Adhere to all Illinois Department of Public Health, the Joint Commission, Occupational Health and Safety Administration, Centers for Disease Control, and other regulatory bodies to provide safe and quality care.
