The certified surgical assistant assists the surgeon in the performance of approved surgical procedures and works under the direct supervision of and by the request of the operating surgeon.

Required Qualifications
Surgical Assistant/Surgical First Assistant, CVOR Experience: 2 years Certifications: ACLS(Copy needed)
BLS(Copy needed)
CERT-NCCSA-CSA(Copy needed)
CERT-NBSTSA- CSFA(Copy needed) Holidays: Required On Call: Yes SSN Required DOB Required References: 2 References in the last 36 months Required High School Diploma Required Completion of a Surgical Tech First Assistant or Certified Surgical Assistant program. Must receive certification as a Certified Surgical Assistant Certification (CSA) through the NCCSA, or Certified Surgical First Assistant Certification (CSFA) through the NBSTSA
