Join Our Team as an Outpatient Radiologic Technologist
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services including diagnostic x-ray, c-arm, and bone density examinations tailored to the needs of our patients and healthcare providers. You will ensure safety and protection protocols are followed while delivering compassionate care to our patients.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Performing radiologic examinations accurately, safely, and in a timely manner for evaluation by radiologists.
- Preparing the radiology suite and associated areas to create a welcoming and safe environment for patients and visitors.
- Maintaining equipment and supplies, ensuring everything is functioning properly and adhering to infection control guidelines and safety protocols.
- Actively participating in safety initiatives and quality improvement by identifying areas for enhancement within workflows.
- Communicating effectively with patients, providing clear explanations of procedures, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Completing all required documentation efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or eligible within 12 months of hire.
- Possess a Temporary B license from South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards if registry eligible.
- Hold a state license from South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards.
- Current BLS certification.
Physical Demands: This role requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) unassisted. You should maintain 20/40 vision (corrected), work comfortably in various environmental conditions, and meet physical qualifications for respirator use.
