Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain compliance with all Federal and State regulations, including understanding health information management issues such as HIPAA.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake.
  • Perform nursing duties including measuring vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
  • Observe and record patients' conditions, reporting any changes or reactions as necessary.
  • Operate X-Ray equipment to capture diagnostic images.
  • Explain procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during scans.
  • Ensure that imaging equipment is properly maintained and in working condition.
  • Prepare and maintain medical supplies and equipment for treatments.
  • Assist with Virtual Medicine consultations as needed.
  • Accurately complete patient charts and documentation in a timely manner.

  • Maintain positive relationships with all clients, co-workers, and managers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Additional Requirements:

  • Complete preceptor training to onboard and train new hires effectively.
  • Collaborate with Learning and Development to assist in training and integration of new team members.
  • Ensure a welcoming experience for new employees on their first day through facility tours and process overviews.
  • Provide regular feedback and evaluations of training progress to Learning and Development.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist, preferably in a clinic or urgent care setting.

Licenses Required:

  • Limited Scope X-Ray Technologist License and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
