Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: Join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our Distribution Center (DC) facilities and equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks and minor mechanical repairs on material handling and Distribution Center equipment.
- Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for generating preventive maintenance worksheets, adhering to manufacturer recommendations and best practices.
- Maintain efficient operations of material handling equipment by addressing jams and removing foreign materials.
- Assist with general building maintenance, including lamp replacement, simple construction, wiring, overhead door repair, and plumbing tasks.

Basic Qualifications:
- High School/GED and at least 2 years of experience in industrial or maintenance technology, or at least 2 years of maintenance experience in a facilities, military, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of industrial electricity, including single-phase and three-phase power, motors, protective devices, and/or photo sensors.
- At least 6 months of experience using hand and power tools (such as drills, fasteners, and saws) in relevant environments.
- Understanding of mechanical theory, including bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor operation.
- Willingness and ability to climb to heights of up to 100 feet for repair tasks.
- Ability to lift parts and tools weighing up to 80 pounds.
- Willingness to perform physical tasks, including repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking.

Salary Range: $22.95 - $34.97 / Hourly
