• Start Date: December 22, 2025
• End Date: March 21, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: 8-hour shifts, 5 days/week (6:00am – 2:30pm); includes holidays, weekends, on-call, and call-back as needed
• Position Type: On-site
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1130 - $1210

Qualifications – Anesthesia Technician Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician or Anesthesia Tech in a hospital or clinical setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Preferred: Four-year college degree with related technical training, or two-year degree with technical training and two years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Preferred: Certification by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists or other nationally recognized certifying body

Primary Responsibilities – Hospital Anesthesia Tech

• Assist in patient care during anesthesia, including preparation and placement of anesthesia equipment and monitors
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of specialized anesthesia equipment and supplies
• Set up medications and supplies for anesthesia procedures
• Support anesthesia clinicians with difficult intubations and central line catheter placements
• Operate cell-saver machines and participate in advanced surgical cases (cardiac, liver transplant, vascular, thoracic, trauma)
• Provide on-call coverage as required
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and ensure preventive maintenance of anesthesia equipment
• Serve as a resource for specialized equipment usage and maintenance
• Assist with staff training and development of in-service programs
• Test and calibrate equipment such as infusion pumps, nerve stimulators, defibrillators, and transport monitors
• Set up operating rooms and anesthesia carts between cases and at end of day
• Support ectopic procedures and anesthesia care outside the OR
• Provide backup support to shift supervisor as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned by hospital leadership
